Flow Visualization in a Clarinet Artificially Blown

The purpose of this experiment is to determine the exact physics that govern the functioning of the clarinet.
Specifically, the fluid flow (air flow) inside the mouthpiece. While many theories seem to hold up well,
none provides and exact answer to all the questions. Most important in this examination is finding what happens
before a standing wave has been formed and a steady oscillation begun.
