Early Roman Polytheistic Style Roman mosaic art focusing on images of multiple gods existed throughout the era of the Roman Empire from approximately 200 BC to 200 AD. I tend to focus on images of the Roman sea-god Neptune, for he is depicted quite often in ancient Roman mosaics and exemplifies a good impression of the mosaic style of the time period.
