This site was created as part of an Experimental College class (Web Design to Tell Your Story) at Tufts University. I signed up for the course in order to familiarize myself with webdesign, Adobe Dreamweaver and project planning.
However, I realized that this class was not only an opportunity to learn the aforementioned skills; it was also a great way to remember my childhood elementary schooldays. Though this site does not fully cover all my experiences in the Philippines, it still gave me a chance to share where I came from, the few years of my life that will always be a part of me.
Most of the information on this site was garnered from what I can remember from my elementary school days (1994 - 2002) at Colegio San Agustin-BiƱan. These were the days when there was no airconditioning in most of the classrooms and most of the buildings were yet to be renovated. Eight years forward and I'm sure many things have changed.
About the site owner:
I was born in the Philippines but migrated to the United States at age 12. Currently, I'm a student at Tufts Univeristy with an intent to major in Computer Science. This website was inspired by the eight years I spent as an elementary student in the Philippines.
