JUMBO EXPLORER goes to Harvard Square!

eat.

Harvard Square has a variety of great places to eat at reasonable, student prices. Here are some of the best in the opinion of Tufts students, Harvard students and locals, alike.

With the witty and fitting concoctions such as the "The Tom Brady" and "The Bill Clinton," these delicious burger creations make sitting elbow to elbow with strangers and the slightly high price worth it. Mr. Bartley's Burgers is a well established favorite and that boasts more than just juicy burgers, but also awesome onion rings, fries and milkshakes.

For a bite and a brew, try Charlie's Kitchen. The downstairs provides a cozy diner feel while the upstairs offers an unpretentious bar with a juke box and flat screens.

A genius idea:  healthy fast food. What more could a student want? With prices that are affordable and a prime location on Dunster Street, b. Good draws those who want a fresh panini or burger on the go as well as students who want to sit at the window sipping a smoothie and checking their email.

The pizza at Pinocchio's is not only delicious after a quite a few drinks at the bar, the slices are good (and cheap!) any time of the day. This hole in the wall establishment has lines outside all day long and fresh pies are made every few minutes.

The recently opened Z Square has both an upstairs casual to go menu, and a downstairs sit down restaurant and swanky bar. Walking into the modern take out section, the Jumbo Explorer was overwhelmed with the mouthwatering smells of bacon, fresh pastas and cookies. Stop up top for a quick bite, or linger downstairs to sample a variety of American dishes.
