Jennifer Miller
(b. 1961) grew up in Connecticut. Her father was a professor of physics at Trinity
College in Hartford, and her mother was a professor of education at Central
Connecticut State College. She is the founder and director of Circus Amok, an
"alternative" circus that incorporates traditional circus acts--jugglers,
clowns, performing animals--with theatrical elements, including giant puppets
and actors on stilts. She performs as a juggler, clown, and monologuist, and
occasionally appears in sideshows.
